This program, administered by software giant Microsoft, supports IT training and workforce development in urban and underserved communities. They give cash grants and software to non-profit community technology centers around the world.

MillerCoors Urban Entrepreneur Series (MUES)
This series is an annual competition for minority business owners sponsored by MillerCoors. Launched in 1999, to encourage entrepreneurship in urban areas, the competition has just celebrated 10 years of giving away business grants to applicants who submit the best business plans. The Urban League is a huge partner in this initiative.

NTIA Grants
The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) and their Office of Telecommunications and Information Applications (OTIA) assists public and non-profit entities in effectively using telecommunications and information technologies to better provide public services and advance other national goals. In addition, the office is administering programs that are helping the nation's transition to digital televison.

Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS)

Ohio Dept of Development

Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC)

Pepsi Refresh Project
Pepsico, one of the world's largest soft drink companies, gives away millions of dollars in grant money to fund good ideas, big and small, that make the world a better place. The program is called the Pepsi Refresh Project, and the "Refresh Grants" will be awarded to entrepreneurs and business owners.
