The Love Our Local Business competition lets fans, including customers, vendors, employees, and the community, determine who deserves some love – in the form of small business grants.
Throughout each month, three businesses are randomly chosen from all of the votes posted since the start of the contest.
While both fans and businesses may vote, the owner of the randomly selected business must also have nominated their own business after October 1 and before the random drawing in order to be eligible to win an Intuit Hiring Grant.
Those businesses who win one of the nine Intuit Hiring Grants worth $25,000 become finalists who are eligible to win the Grand Prize Intuit Hiring Grant and have their award increased to $50,000.
For the Grand Prize, our guest judge(s) will review the nominating comments, business website, facebook page and/or blog of the three finalists who win. The judge(s) will then determine which one of the three finalists will win the Grand Prize $50,000 Intuit Hiring Grant by selecting the business that is most “loved by its customers, vendors, employees, or local community.”
